Where Memories Flow as Freely as the Creek

Amenities

  • Overlooking the backyard and the creek, spend some time under the stars while relaxing with a glass of wine in the hot tub, complete with little waterfalls for ambiance.

  • Your stay at the Homestead at Cunningham creek is a bit of a farm stay. We have our own chickens on property and provide fresh eggs to our guests upon check in!

Just Like Grandma’s

  • A spacious living room with blue and beige walls, hardwood floors, a ceiling fan, black and beige sofas, a white area rug, a small desk with a chair, a TV on a wooden stand, a bookshelf with books, a doorway with curtains, and a staircase with a wooden railing.

    Ample Family Gathering Space

With three thoughtfully designed living rooms, there’s a perfect space for every kind of moment — morning coffee chats, quiet book reading, movie nights with the kids, or late-night laughter over a bottle of Virginia wine. Whether you want to gather everyone together or sneak off for a little downtime, you’ll never feel cramped here.

  • A leaf-covered forest floor with tall, leafless trees and a small creek running through the woods, under a cloudy sky.

    Creekside Escape

Just beyond the back porch, you’ll find Cunningham Creek winding its way through the property — the kind of peaceful setting that slows your pace without you even realizing it. Whether the kids are tossing pebbles, you're sipping wine by the water, or everyone’s gathered for a creekside picnic, it’s a hidden gem that keeps calling you back.

  • Wooden outdoor deck with glass table, chairs, swing, and hanging planters, overlooking a wooded backyard.

The Porch You'll Never Want to Leave

Overlooking the trees and the sounds of the creek below, the expansive back porch is the heart of the Homestead. Rocking chairs, soft lighting, and wide open skies make it the ideal spot for everything from morning coffee to golden hour catch-ups. It’s not just a place to sit — it’s a place to stay awhile.

We have a high chair and a kids bouncer as well.

Fun fact: The house was built for kids - that loop around the living rooms and through the kitchen? Intentionally there for kids to be able to run around it and have the time of their lives!

  • Yes - we do our best to keep the trails mowed so that you can walk down the creek’s edge. On a warm summer day though, nothing beats wading through the creek catching minnows.

  • We have pretty spotty cell service, so we suggest putting your next location in your GPS prior to leaving the house.

We do, however, have great WiFi, which you can connect to immediately upon arrival!

  • The nearest winery is Cunningham Creek Winery, just three miles from the home!
